Confidentiality Agreement

I, the undersigned, X.Y., translator/proofreader, address: …………………………………………),

mother’s name: …………………………………………….., identity card No.: ……………………………),

as the party obliged to confidentiality (hereinafter: ‘the Obligor’) by signing this declaration, declare that:

• I will not transfer or make available any information obtained by me related to the Client or to the customer thereof in the course of the translations to any third party and/or the media except if I receive the prior written consent of the Client thereto or in case such transfer is prescribed by law.

• I am entitled to use the information related to the Client or to the customer thereof that I receive from my Client or acquire in any other way exclusively for the purpose of accomplishing the particular task.

• I will not use either the source or the translated target text, the translation memory or the terminology database related thereto for any other purpose or transfer the above partially or in whole either in traditional or in printed form.

I agree that my confidentiality obligation will continue subsequent to the completion of my translations as well.

I acknowledge that in case of  a breach  of confidentiality , I will be subject to the legal consequences as set out in the Civil Code of Hungary.
